Chintaro Chihuahuas

My name is Veronica McKelvie and I am a Registered Exhibitor and Breeder with Dogs West and “Dogs Australia” formerly Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) of both long and smooth coated Chihuahua’s.

My aim at CHINTARO is to breed and exhibit (and my passion is showing!) healthy, sound, well bred, correct dogs with great temperaments for the show ring.   Here at Chintaro our goal is always about improving the breed!

To help accomplish this I have already imported dogs with beautiful linage from the United Kingdom, Europe and across the pond – (New Zealand) to meet my own set criteria.

I belong to many clubs and at this time am actively involved on the committee of the WA Chihuahua Club as Vice President (2022/2023) as well as being the Secretary of the National Chihuahua Council (of Australia)- NCC since December 2018 and still current.
